Constitution Day

Although officially observed yesterday, today is Constitution Day. The Constitution was signed on this date, September 17th, in 1787 in Philadelphia. Forty-two of the fifty-five delegates to the Constitutional Convention held their final meeting. The Constitution was signed by thirty-nine of the forty-two in attendance. Continue reading
