Jesus, Santa Clause and Uncle Sam May Have Once Nodded Approval of America’s Direction
Somewhere between the place where the Founding Fathers conceived a Republic and Neverland, there was a time during 20th Century America, when Jesus, Santa Clause and Uncle Sam were representative of some of the primary ideological images of the United States of America.
That USA was referred to as the “home of the free and the land of the brave” and it encompassed a land of opportunity from sea to shining sea. The new America of the 21st Century, now called a “Homeland” replete with “Homeland Security”, is being transformed to an increasingly unrecognizable tarnished and tawdry place, where the Uncle has been replaced by a Federal Big Brother, a Santa Clause of the socialist state and Jesus reluctantly relegated, and not by a majority, to domains too private instead of what once was comfortably public. The American people are coerced into believing that this is a “new normal.” In propaganda circles, this would be called, “The big lie.” There is no “new normal” – only normal. When continued attempts are made to demoralize a nation, you have to call it something.
Something happened after the whirlwind of euphoria from the “fabulous fifties”. Ten Commandments flew off school walls faster than Mary, Joseph and the Wise Men were escorted off courthouse lawns at Christmastime. Following further debasement of America’s currency (60′s), Nixon’s abandonment of the gold standard (70′s), gutting of the Glass-Steagal Act (90′s) and a fear mongering mentality fomented from 9/11 (2,000 until present), a new era of money changers and politicos have brought the country and our way of life to the brink of collapse. And it doesn’t matter if you’re country or city folks, cause none of it ain’t normal. Yet, while they have thrown the Prince of Peace and the wise men out of the public square, they have not yet completely succeeded in eradicating a new generation’s ideas about morality, (regardless of the proliferation of pornography) that’s repeatedly questioning why America is still headed in the wrong direction, given the strong head winds from both parties, with never-ending promises to fix America’s ills. And regardless of which party is elected, the promises have become the empty hot air of a thousand yesterdays. Nothing changes and the mindless charade continues.
Many God-fearing Americans, who feel helpless to do anything, fervently ask, “What would Jesus do?” and they have the wristbands to prove it. Drowning in a sea of lies and empty promises, America’s ship is floundering and the realization is finally surfacing that a crisis is at hand – NOW. Some, with passport in hand, and the luxury of foreign bank accounts have even abandoned ship.
This crisis is defined by an increasingly intense ideological effort, now fully underway, to mould a nation’s innocent youth, the next generations, and everyone else in forging the evil empire, hell-bent on a new world order. That new world order, and its ideological underpinnings want people to put aside any idea of nation states, sovereignty and the rule of law. Constitutions become casualties in the name of “Forward” or “modern” thinking and that precious blessing called “Liberty” be damned. You are witness to a world-wide concerted effort to “globalize” everything, including your thinking. ”Going global” is the panacea for the betterment of the world, whether that is defined as “corporate food” or a United Nations, which increasingly blurs the lines between sovereign states through intrusion and “legalized” sanctions. The root problem is that the perpetuation of the current monetary and banking system, built on debt and death, may crumble during this crisis era. That is all part of the risk assessment. Unfortunately, more debt and death is coming before a winning ideology emerges. No one wins. But, all of this is part and parcel of a long running concerted demoralization process, for which you are one of the many lab rats.
To get you “re-educated”, loosely translated “buy in”, your long-held beliefs must be destroyed. And if Jesus, Santa Clause or the iconic image of Uncle Sam get in the way, then they will be destroyed as well. In the meantime, you may be sent to a re-education camp, if you can serve a purpose in the grander scheme of the new order. If not, you will be as expendable as the next drone target.
Once there was a time, before Christmas became so commercialized, that Jesus was the reason for the season and Santa Clause was merely a childhood fantasy, that co-existed with Christmastime’s true meaning. And Uncle Sam wanted you to “fight the good fight” to preserve the nation-state and America’s national and individual sovereignty: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Your American Heritage meant more than the nation’s current obsession with wealth creation, derivatives and technology.
Everyone may one day own a smart phone, but the device doesn’t make anyone smarter. And remember, all those Washington-based Ivy League graduates, PhD’s, lawyers and politicos have placed the nation in grave danger, with a national debt approaching 16 Trillion and many Trillions more in unfunded liabilities, which will never be paid. So much for brains and good stewardship.
This fourth of July, make it your mission to hold on to your long-held beliefs. As we stated on January 1st of this year, in a post titled 2012 – Your Declaration of Independence, “At the forefront, place independent thinking or at least looking at this life on planet earth in a different way.” If you haven’t started practicing it yet, what better time to begin the road to Independent Thinking than on Independence Day?
